Known issues

  • 2026-04-19: Dock disconnect/reconnect cycle after MacBook restart. Resolved by full unplug/replug. Concurrent kernel panic in ACIO-PHY (USB-C controller) likely related — the dock state during sleep/wake transitions can fail USB4 link negotiation. DisplayLink Manager was on outdated 1.10.3 (late 2024) — upgraded to 16.x via brew install --cask displaylink. Plugable has documented this exact issue affecting original-revision UD-ULTC4K (May 2022 and older) on Apple Silicon as of macOS 26.3.
