- We had somewhat of a heated conversation regarding the “law is inprecise”
- I got triggered by Dave countering my point of “language is inprecise and as such the law follows”
- We transitioned to talking about his current case regarding two undercover police officers that went to a bar to capture a noise complaint
- The undercover cops said it failed their subjective test of standing 60cm apart and seeing if they can hear each other, however by the time the in uniform cops they called as backup came the noise had been lowered
- The cops are charging based off the undercover cops report however the bar is saying they’re “patrons” and not cops, especially as they came and bought a drink

- First full day in Australia with Dave et. al. Helped Dave setup my old apple watch that I’m giving him as well as trying to convince him to setup Jeet’s old iPhone 13 pro. Dave will probably do it eventually but he’s being resistant to change as usual. Bettina, Dave’s ex-partner and Simran’s mom came over last night for dinner with the family and it was a nice evening. I heard some arguing afterwards when I went to bed between Dave and Jeet but I tried to tune it out and just sleep instead.
