Spoke with her earlier; she had a migraine yesterday and couldn’t sleep, ended up sleeping at 5am
Finished filing dad’s taxes and T2201 (Disability Tax Credit)

Spoke on the phone, she’s been sick since Monday and felt worst today
Had gone to her Physiotherapist today to get injections in her neck to relax her neck muscles; had to go due to their scheduling despite being too sick
Weight is now 140lb after fasting the day prior
Has trouble eating hard/dry foods like bagels and chicken breast; opts for chicken thigh instead
I suggested at her next annual checkup she bring up the difficulty eating hard foods with her physician and get a follow-up referral to a specialist

Set up dad’s CRA account
Got her RRSP tax papers
Chatted about her removing her mental block from “keeping a lot of junk” and “wanting perfection” in the kitchen - she’s been removing some stuff and planning on slowly introducing new things
Discussed the mortgage - I said I’d pay her mortgage + property tax and we’d move the car loan under the mortgage

Called and showed me the new fridge that her friend Sukhbir’s son and his wife had given her - brand new fridge & stove they never used because they wanted a different one
They had measured the fridge height but got it wrong, so the current spot is too short and needs the cabinet above removed
Called one of her general contractors to come remove it, then the fridge will go there
Stressed regarding the home back in Bombay and selling it
Told her not to worry too much, we’re doing alright, and to just get a lawyer
Advised her to speak to the existing lawyers in Toronto and see if they know anyone in Bombay or have a Bombay presence

Discussed her coming to visit me end of March or Good Friday in April

She was hesitant - said she wants to be independent and doesn’t want me to feel like I need to cater to her or let her be too involved in my life
I told her I wanted her to come and like having her around

Won’t be free for next 2 weeks: new fridge coming in from Sukhbir’s children + something else the week after

Didn’t go to work because it was slow
Met with friends Harjinder & Sukhbir at Square One
With Harjinder, got the new iPhone 17 Pro + AirPods Pro 4 + AirPods Max for $1,900 CAD
Deal through Harjinder’s brother who works in sales at an Apple distribution center

Spoke quickly on the phone during my walk to get lunch at work
Said she didn’t go to work the previous day because the power was off for the plant. They asked for her to coke in at 7pm but she missed it and didn’t go
Dad came home by himself from the hospital the prior day and has been anxious as well as having delusions that someone is going to harm him

First full day with my mum in Australia, she seems to be happy and made dinner that night for everyone. She made barbeque chicken along with macaroni white pasta which was good. She’s very loving and excited about simran.

Met my mom at the airport after my flight was 2 hours delayed.
She was a bit distressed from navigating to terminal 3 because she had never been they’re before and the car navigation audio was not working
She made me hakka noodles manchurian chicken

Spoke on phone and she said she went to her doctor in regards to the tiredness and symptoms that we assume are from a lingering heat stroke
The doctor gave her a recommendation for a dietician who said her diet was good but she needs rest and gave her a guava drink that has vitamin d in it
