- Reached out to get his opinion on a CR from Aleks Gyorev (storage team, under Chen Song, skip Jason Chen)
- The CR was a one-line fix for a pandas incompatibility that had stopped the Excessive Notification Monitoring reports from running since December 2025
- Aleks hadn’t spoken to me beforehand and just put up the CR with the title claiming 97 failures, which was misleading since it’s a bi-weekly job and there were only 14 failed runs
- Took Tanay’s opinion, constructed my comment on the CR, and said LGTM
- In the comment, acknowledged we were aware of the issue but it wasn’t funded for 2025/2026 so it hadn’t been prioritized
- Also alluded that the cost savings achieved were because of the monitoring and follow-ups that me and Tanay do

- Told me about a meeting with Jeff Reback, Navina, and Rich Frank regarding a new migration framework to move from global platform to enterprise platform (Miku to EPE)
