Safety
Safety Categories
The two classes of safety systems are Active and Passive when referring to automobile safety. Passive safety is providing protection in an event of a crash, and Active safety is reducing the chances of having a crash in the first place. An example of passive safety would be airbags, and antilock brakes would be an example of active safety.
Safety Resources
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is a good resource to check safety ratings for cars.
Finance
When considering price, you should look at the out the door price, this would include the price of the car, taxes, and other fees. Then you take that price and run the loan amortization formula to get the total cost as well as the payments for the schedule you’ve chosen. Nerd wallet has a good auto loan calculator that helps calculate your final price as well as amount owed per instalment.
