Warranty periods

  • Non-electronic products: 3 years from date of delivery — PopSockets warrants products “free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for the lifetime of the product,” which they designate as three years (Limited Warranty §What Is Covered).
  • Electronic products: 1 year from date of delivery, same defect standard (§What Is Covered).
  • Replacement products carry the warranty only for the remainder of the original period, not a fresh clock (§Sole and Exclusive Remedy).

90-day satisfaction guarantee

  • Any-reason refund or replacement within 90 days of delivery for purchases from popsockets.com or authorized US sellers; 30 days for Europe direct (§90 Day Satisfaction Guarantee).
  • After the 90/30-day window, dissatisfaction claims must be defect-based → replacement of same/similar style.

Who is covered

  • Original end purchaser only, non-transferable; receipt from an authorized retailer required (§Who Is Covered).
  • Excluded: online auction purchases and unauthorized sellers. Amazon “Sold by: Amazon.com” counts as authorized (PopSockets sells wholesale to Amazon post-2018 pricing dispute).

What is NOT covered

Per §What Is Not Covered: normal wear and tear; misuse/lack of care/mishandling/accident/abuse; use other than intended purpose; unauthorized repair; modified products; damage to connected devices.

Practical line: cosmetic surface wear = excluded; delamination, cracking, adhesive/bond failure under normal use = arguably workmanship/materials defect = covered.

Claim process

  • Email cs@popsockets.com for instructions (§How to Make a Claim).
  • Physical return (if requested): PopSockets LLC, 3235 Prairie Ave., Boulder, CO 80301, traceable shipping, with receipt + name/phone/address/email. Customer pays inbound shipping; PopSockets pays return shipping on the replacement.
  • Remedy is replacement (same/similar style, or substitute equivalent depending on availability) — exchange basis only (§Sole and Exclusive Remedy).

Other notes

  • 10-foot drop protection applies to phone cases only; discretionary financial assistance possible for phone repair (§10 Feet Drop Protection).
  • Implied warranties limited to the duration of the limited warranty; consequential damages disclaimed, capped at purchase price — with state-law carve-outs (§Disclaimers / Limitation of Liability).
  • The Terms & Conditions version of the claim section adds that PopSockets may, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price within 30 days of determining a warranted defect.
