Defects claimed

  1. Design/graphic peeling — began within the first few months of ownership; cosmetic at the time so kept using it.
  2. Center crack at card holder — the card holder mount has cracked and is at risk of detaching entirely.
  3. Loose MagSafe attachment — the holder attachment has loosened and fully come off twice, making it unsafe to carry cards.

Framed as progressive materials/workmanship defect under normal use (delamination + cracking), explicitly distinguished from wear-and-tear (which is excluded).

Claim submission

  • Sent: Sun Jul 13, 2026, 10:48 AM EDT to cs@popsockets.com
  • Subject: “Warranty claim for my MagSafe Phone Wallet”
  • Attachments: Amazon order summary PDF (Popsocket Magsafe Holder.pdf) + 3 photos (IMG_1429–1431: peeling, crack, loose attachment)
  • Ask: replacement under the 3-year limited warranty

Expectations

  • Past the 90-day satisfaction guarantee (~2 years in), so this rides entirely on the defect argument.
  • Remedy per TOS is replacement of same/similar style; they may ask for a physical return (I’d pay inbound shipping to Boulder, CO), but for a ~$30 item photo-based replacement is likely.
  • Replacement inherits the remaining warranty (through ~July 2027), not a fresh 3 years.
