L’Industrie with Jessica, Vicky and Nithu
Jessica Gill is in NYC with her friends Vicky and Nithu, staying in Brooklyn. They had dinner at L’Industrie Pizzeria — West Village (104 Christopher St), 7 PM. I was invited but didn’t go; Jess asked for recs near L’Industrie instead, and I sent the West Village list.
Prep
- I initially assumed the Williamsburg original and researched that first — the Williamsburg section of NYC Recs came out of that and is still useful since they’re staying in Brooklyn. Corrected to the West Village once Jess clarified; that section is in NYC Recs too.
- Vault had no first-hand L’Industrie visit — only that Medo and Halima grabbed a slice at the West Village location before Chalong.
- Last time out with Jess (2026-07-31, with Sanam): brief was “good food + cute vibes”; Take 31 then 230 Fifth rooftop.
What I sent
- Order online 30–45 min ahead; burrata, fig jam & bacon, spicy salami + hot honey, bomboloni/gelato.
- Christopher St Pier for sunset → Cellar Dog (next door) / Marie’s Crisis / Employees Only / Little Branch / Bar Pisellino / Smalls / Comedy Cellar / Washington Square.
- More pizza: Bleecker Street Pizza, John’s of Bleecker, Joe’s. Dessert: Magnolia, Van Leeuwen.
